Let's be clear about one thing first: this video isn't real. At least, part of it isn't real. Drifting ace Rhys Millen did all the Challenger Hellcat driving for real, he just didn't do it on a platform suspended by helicopters hundreds of feet above the streets of Cape Town. That would be crazy.
I don't actually care, because a.) this Pennzoil ad is still awesome and b.) I bet Millen would totally do it if someone arranged it for real.
This ad for Pennzoil was done by filmmaker Ozan Biron, who brought us that famous BMW M4 aircraft carrier drift video a few months back. The new one features the sweet sounds of the Hellcat's 707 horsepower supercharged V8, some insane high speed drifts by Millen through the empty night streets, and then some movie magic that sends him into the air.
Like I said, I bet if someone offered to let Millen do this for real, he'd pull it off.
