A two-alarm fire in downtown New Rochelle, home to the Jalopnik global empire, reconfigured our cable Internet access as dead wiring strung from useless boxes. After lots of hand wringing, tears of frustration, and house-to-house searches, we found a new home, in the form of Global Java, home of the most awesome coffee and screaming children, not to mention WiFi, in the entire Queen City. We'll be reporting live from here for the duration. Sorry for the late start. On an aside, if your train from NYC ever gets stuck in New Rochelle, hop out, climb the stairs and go to Global. These guys rock straight up.
