We know you were all scrambling for a badge-engineered version of the Chevy Aveo, but Edmunds is reporting that GM has denied the US and its Pontiac dealers a chance at the Pontiac G3 Wave. Rumors surfaced earlier this summer pointing to the possibility of the little Mexican-built, Korean-engineered, Pontiac-badged micro-machine coming to domestic shores. Unfortunately, Pontiac spokesman Jim Hopson shot down all of our hopes and dreams by saying, "Right now, we don't have that vehicle approved for U.S. consumption." Dang. Why does the rest of the world get all of the good cars? [Edmunds Inside Line]
