The Detroit News reports (on a report) that DaimlerChrysler will announce today (or sometime this week) its plan to bring the Smart brand to the US. As we've mentioned previously, it'll likely be the next generation Smart Fortwo, powered by a new Mitsubishi-sourced engine, which will reportedly launch in early 2007 in Europe. In preparation, we're "gauging the marketplace" with a non-scientific poll. Would you buy a Smart in the US? Or would you rather ride a self-propelled Snapper push mower on the 405? Ok, skip the second part, and take the poll after the jump.
