Renting a Green Car

We imagine renting would be the best way to get a feel for a vehicle that runs on an alternative fuel, say french-fry oil, without investing in one. It's also good exposure for "green" automakers, who can get their cars on the road (with a commensurate level of graphical info tatooed on, of course), without having to sell consumers on them directly. Lots of companies are doing just that, as the New York Times reports today.
