We're telling you, the new engine on ING and Renault's new Formula 1 entry for the 2007 season is so amazing, they've got to enclose the entire car in a cage of shatterproof glass and rail bars. The newly redesigned race car derived from the championship-winning R25 and R26 is so fantabulously french n' fast, they won't even let real people see it. Of course it might not be the engine — maybe it's that curved element over the front wing that's larger than last year, or maybe it's the triangular-in-profile sidepods. Heck, maybe it's the pod wings which have the rear view mirrors integrated into them. We've no clue why, but it seems the only viewers with the ability to take the sheer sacre-blue-ishness of this new-for-2007 racer are dummies dressed as real people. Which, as you can see from the above picture — probably won't bode well for F1's ability to get real live paying folks into seats for the upcoming season. Merde! Full gallery below.
