Renault Megane: A Test of Character

The Renault Megane Scenic (accutes redacted), in which we recently cruised central Italy, loaded to the hilt with wild boar sausages and bottles of Montepulciano (helluva party), kind of knocked our American wool socks off with the surprisingly smooth and torquey acceleration of its spunky 1.9 liter diesel engine. Still, the Scenic couldn't hold a votive candle to its sister speedsters, the Megane Renaultsport versions, in the performance department. The closest we came to a "test of character" was a single, awkward brake-steering move that kept us from mounting a dual-trailer semi at around 140km/h. The driver in this recent viral ad spot for Renault, however, experiences a true test of character. Two, well-formed tests of character, actually. Wild boar sausage, nothwithstanding. [Thanks to Yang for the tip.]
