This picture of two die-cast SUVs that look exactly like the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport have been circulating around the internet for the past 24 hours or so. The new Freelander/LR2 replacement isn't meant to be revealed until September 2nd, but it seems we're getting a small-scale sneak peek right here.

The image appears to have popped onto the internet from the catalogue of a British vendor selling Land Rover merchandise, but that's all we know for now.

The vehicle is pretty much what we've been expecting; basic shape of the concept we saw at the New York Auto Show minus the wild accessories like suicide-doors and X-patterned roof roll bars. Don't hold your breath for the "transparent hood" or remote-control-by-iPhone operation yet either.

LeftLane News reminds us such silliness has happened before; they say "the 2013 Dodge Viper was leaked in early 2012 by a Hot Wheels model," and that Mattel's 1968 Chevrolet Corvette made a public appearance before the actual car.

Most are speculating the new Discovery Sport will start at under $50,000 when it goes on sale early next year.
