There's no Shoebox greeting card to honor their anniversary, nor will Ziggy evoke their names in a tragic-comic birthday lament, but nonetheless, NASA's Mars Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, celebrated their first year on the Red Planet yesterday. The mission was supposed to last only three months, but the robots are still going strong. Spirit just found an exotic rock, and the underachieving Opportunity is still looking for signs of water to fill its space bong with.
