Rebellious Design Concepts Featured at Student Show

Final-year undergraduate students in Transport Design from Britain's University of Huddersfield recently displayed their work at the school's annual degree show exhibition, as well as at the New Designers exhibition at London's Business Design Centre. Our favorite of the bunch is the concept Nissan Seeker, a cyberpunk roadster with an oppositional signification. "The Seeker sticks two fingers [that's a middle finger in the US] up at today's vehicles which aim to be as safe, versatile, and environmentally friendly as possible, and is intent on delivering the pure driving experience," designer Oliver Raine told a reporter. We wonder if Nissan would allow that kind of talk in its studios. Hopefully so.
