Not too many people outside of the Washington, D.C. area have ever heard of go-go, but here it is in all its glory, celebrating my car. And why not? D.C. isn't known for an abundance of any cars other than the mundane beige hordes that sell so well everywhere. So when I see a late-'80s hooptie with curb feelers rollin' down the street, it makes me glad that cultural individuality refuses to die amidst a massive assault by dowdiness.
