Road rage in racing is nothing new, but it can sometimes lead to incredibly dangerous results. Racer Mike Robertson learned that the hard way last night when he was dragged at speed along the track at a race in Winston-Salem, North Carolina last night.

It appears Robertson was pissed off after eventual winner Derek Stoltz bumped him from behind and made him spin out just prior to the incident, according to the Winston-Salem Journal. Robertson got out of his car, ran over to Stoltz's vehicle, and it actually looks as if Stoltz made a move towards Robertson. Robertson then latched on as Stoltz hit the gas.

It looks like Robertson was relatively fine after being dragged and then slammed into the wall, as he got up immediately after and started chasing the car again before being stopped by track security.

What's that they say about rubbing and racing?

H/t to Bob!
