Volvo is keenly aware that their current car designs are stylish, but are in no way as iconic as their old offerings. To that end they have an ace up their sleeve in the form of a new coupe concept headed to the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Concept C Coupe is apparently the mysterious car we caught a glimpse of on Friday. Now we know what the hell it is, and we have a few more teaser shots quickly spliced into this preview video Fight Club-style.
In the video, Volvo design boss Thomas Ingenlath says that when he joined Volvo last year, it didn't set well with him when people described the company's designs as "vanilla." With this mystery car, he says those days are over.
Cool. I can't wait to see the full concept. I hope it looks as good as the old Bertone-designed 262C. Now that was a good-looking Volvo.
Thanks for the tips everyone!
