Porsche released photos and specs on its newest interation of the 911 (997) Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S all-wheel-drive models. The all-wheel-drive versions, which will see daylight in Germany this October 22nd, sport a slightly widened track, with 44mm extra girth over the rear fenders, allowing for 295/35 ZR 18 tires on the 4 and 305/30 ZR 19s on the 4S — enough rubber to retread every #2 pencil in Baden-Wurttemberg. Also, an traction control system upgrades make for an extra sticky ride home from Oktoberfest. No word on when kids in the US will get theirs.
