Pontiac rolled out the GXP prototype of its front-drive G6 at the SEMA show this past year, showing off what can be done when engineers erase "torque steer" from their Dictionary of Things to Avoid. Now the company says it's bringing the GXP (yes, still in concept form) to the New York show, which may indicate the company is closer to putting the high-performance G6 into production. The GXP is juiced with the new GM 3.9-liter VVT V6 producing 270-hp, possibly orange paint and some manner of body kit. You know they'll build it. Stop the teasing.
