What happens when you put a Google Street View camera on a Prius? Mostly just shots of the plain world around us, sometimes punctuated by extreme badasses and ravines. Put it on the new Mercedes F1 car and you can see what Lewis Hamilton sees.

This is not only the fastest Street View car you've ever seen but also the first time we hear the W05's turbo V6 at full throttle. There's an app for your iPad and some smoky AMG donuts, too.

Filmed at Silverstone Circuit using six cameras recording 40 frames per second, the footage follows Nico Rosberg's first ride in the W05. Mind you, Lewis Hamilton's start wasn't that fun.

The cool thing is that if you have an iPad, its gyroscopic sensors will track your movements and alter the camera angle accordingly with directional sound, showing you the moving race car like you've never experienced before.

Just use this app or watch it online right here:

Nico Rosberg wasn't alone though. Hamilton was there too and after the W05, they both jumped into an E 63 AMG S wagon to get rid of a few sets of rear tires.

Prepare yourself for some 3D tire shredding and send lots of emails to Google explaining them why they need to replace those Priuses, Imprezas and Opel Astras for a much improved Street View fleet.
