There are private jets, and there are corporate jets. Private jets get you there in style and comfort, while corporate jets make a statement. This week at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention on Orlando, I toured Hyundai's Boeing 737-700 Business Jet, so let's check it out.

After a minute on the plane, three words came to mind. So. Much. Beige. I'l be the first to say that this wasn't the best-looking aircraft interior I saw this week, but then again, I'd have no complaints at all if I were traveling the world in a BBJ. The plastic sheeting you see on the floor is to protect it from the hundreds of dirty shoes touring the plane throughout the week.

I've never been to Korea, but the furnishings and fittings do seem a bit out-dated. The couches look like something we might see inside the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Price.

Hyundai's BBJ interior doesn't look all that different from Air Force One, considered by many to be the most opulent way to travel, though the current Air Force One has been in service for about 20 years now.

But maybe this is modern to them, or perhaps a gesture of humility in not having it all blinged-out. I don't know exactly when they had this plane outfitted. And like I mentioned above — still a very nice plane, and they're still traveling better than I ever have.
