Painting the Peninsula Red: SiliValley Gets a Ferrari Dealership

While all of the publicity seems to be going to the new Ferrari/Maserati dealership at the Wynn Las Vegas, claims of Silicon Valley's demise are greatly exaggerated, as a brand-spankin'-new F/M store has just opened in Red City, just north of the Santa Clara Valley. Red City strikes us as an odd location, though, as there are plenty of Peninsula towns on the higher side of chichi than the RWC. It always reminded us of a pricier Sacramento with worse traffic. However, forsaking a tonier address for more space has its advantages: the dealership is reportedly one of the largest Ferarri stores in the world, featuring 10,000 square feet of showroom space, as well as a 12,000 square-foot shop area. Oh, and an on-site Italian bistro opens in a month. Their allotment of Enzo's children is already three years oversold, but if you ask nicely, they might sell you a Maserati on the spot. Meanwhile, we're waiting for the cheeseburger stand at our local Chevy dealer to open. [Thanks to Nixie for the tip.]
