Our man in Japan Ken Saito has me curious enough to want to drive a Nissan 370Z again. Has this ancient beast become old-school cool? Is its hydraulic steering and beefy, non-turbo V6 an antidote to how similar cars feel today? I will report back to you if I find out.

The 350/370 have a lot of styling cues that resemble an old Datsun 240. Weirdly, the car as a whole does not resemble one.

It’s a fairly small car, but the way it’s designed makes it look fat and bloated. Nissan needs to take another crack at it.
