When this '34 Ford appeared at Russetta Timing Association events on Southern California's dry lakes back in the late 1940s, it may as well have come from Mars. In a time where roadsters ruled, the Pierson Brothers, along with help from Edelbrock, built this world-beater of a coupe, which changed the world of lakes racing and influenced generations of hot rodders. Not only was it incredibly well-finished given the standards of the time, it was also brutally fast, notching 150mph when flathead-powered roadsters were barely making 130.
