Welcome aboard Mr. Philip Hall’s 1966 Lola-Chevrolet T70 Spyder! Your driver will be Nick Padmore today, average speed is expected to be around 110.46 MPH during your journey. Bon voyage and thank you for choosing Goodwood!

The Goodwood Circuit is ridiculously fast thanks to Lord March’s grandfather, but not 160-MPH fast. Yes, it’s true that the McLaren P1 went up to about 180mph there last year during a demonstration lap. But the McLaren P1 is a 903 horsepower hypercar, not a sixties Can-Am racer.

The cars competing in the Bruce McLaren Trophy are by far the scariest machines racing at Goodwood, but Nick Padmore didn’t get the memo about the importance of life preservation and floored his Lola-Chevrolet T70 at the 73rd Members’ Meeting without missing a beat.

Hitting the rev-limiter at one point, he set a new record of 1:18.217.

If you happen to have a Lola T70, take it to Complete Motorsport Solutions. They seem to know how to tune these...
