Apparently, back in '71, predating GMC's foray into manhood with the Caballero or the short-lived Isuzu Hombre (which, of course, wasn't a Camino, but one who can't love a vehicle graced with such a ridiculous sobriquet has a heart harder than Dick Cheney's failure-prone model), AMC came up with the Cowboy.
