Nobody thinks that magically, more oil is going to appear in the ground rapidly enough to replace what we're using currently at any sustainable pace. But could it be that we're not using it as quickly as we thought? Cambridge Energy Research Associates says that we've got enough left in the ground to last us 122 years at current rates of consumption. Then we can start drilling on the moon.

Yes, and luckily we're not increasing oil consumption worldwide. This is like the last study these guys put out — I think it was something like:"If All People On Earth Stay Alive From This Point On Until Forever, No One On Earth Will Ever Die Again."
