Basically, because Delphi is in bankruptcy it's able to do whatever it wants as long as the bankruptcy court says it's ok. If Delphi wants to cancel benefits for employees, we're pretty sure as long as the judge says "yes," it's ok. If Delphi wants to cancel pay raises for employees, we're pretty sure as long as the judge says "yes," it's ok. If Delphi wants to force its employees to jump on leg, we're even pretty sure as long as the judge says "yes," it's ok. Well, Delphi hasn't said they want to do that yet, but according to Forbes, the UAW's website has a message this afternoon saying Delphi's gonna file motions tomorrow morning to void contracts with the union. Man, this means we're gonna need to actually do work tomorrow. Dagnabit!
