Run, DmC and tell Mercedes customers some of their windshield wipers be wack (yikes, the NyQuil hangover is raging full on). The company announced today it was recalling 50,000 Vaneo and A-Class cars — mainly in the German market — built between 2002 and 2003 because of a possible windshield-wiper problem. (Both cars are built on the A-Class platform, though the Vaneo rides on a stretched chassis.) Earlier in 2005, Mercedes recalled 1.3 million vehicles in several model ranges to fix problems with their alternators and batteries.
