Nissan's New Rogue Aims Low

If you've got under 20 large, you've got yourself a mini Murano. Nissan says its new Rogue small SUV entry is coming to market at the paltry sum of $19,995, including shipping. That's for the base 2WD S model; for all-wheel-drive, it's $21,195. The higher-spec SL starts at $21,415, with an all-wheel-drive version starting at $22,615. It's undercut both the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4, though we've yet to get one on the road, pack it with giant packs of paper towels and make it do laps around the Home Goods parking lot until the CVT transmission cries uncle.
