As AutoWeek is reporting, Nissan will import some fuel-cell powered X-Trail SUVs as part of a leasing program for US companies. The program, which Nissan executives say could begin as early as 2007, is reportedly similar to one the company launched in Japan in 2004, that provides a small number of hydrogen fueled X-Trail SUVs to businesses. Consumers won't be able to participate, though they may be able to fill their water bottles from the cars' exhaust pipes as they sit in Bay Area traffic.
