New York Auto Show: Cadillac XLR-V

Cadillac is serious about doing the coolest shit these days; almost in spite of itself. Grandpa definitely wouldn't have recognized the company who once built his '82 Eldorado as a performance and design leader. But that's exactly what it's becoming. Take, for example, the performance version of its XLR roadster, the XLR-V, which the company revealed at the NY show. A supercharged version of the 4.4 liter, 440hp Northstar V8 engine gives the XLR-V a 0-60 mph acceleration of under five seconds. Go, grandpa, freaking go.
