New US Government Campaign Promotes SUV Safety

A kind-of clever new government campaign to prevent SUV rollover deaths invokes the image of a huge, hairy beast to educate drivers on how not to barrel-roll their trucks. The beast, named Esuvee, looks to be part buffalo, part prehistoric mammalian tundra-tamer and part Oscar the Grouch, with headlights for eyes. He or she stands in for the large vehicles in question, to help impart information on loading, speed control and keeping tires properly inflated. It's some pretty bizarre shit, especially coming from those who drive fleet Tauruses to work. [Thanks to Puck for the tip.]
