Because filmmakers somehow didn't say everything they needed to say in the previous three movies or the TV series, The Transporter is back for another round of Audi drifting and punching people's throats. Just don't look for Jason Statham this time.
In this "prequel" to the other films dubbed The Transporter: Refueled, Statham has been replaced by Ed Skrein, a 32-year-old English actor and rapper who performs under the name The Dinnerlady P.I.M.P. Not making this up.
Here's what I don't get: if this movie is a prequel, and this Transporter is at least 10 years younger or more than Statham's version, how is he driving a brand-new Audi S8? Does product placement make time flow backwards?
Anyway, enjoy the inexplicable Audi drifting and throat-punching. It will likely not disappoint on either front.
