New 'Red Smoke' Tires Introduced for Drifting

Kumho Tire created a version of its ECSTA MX high-performance street tire, the ECSTA MX-C, that produces red smoke during burnouts. The tires, which debuted at the Formula Drift event at Road Atlanta last week, won't be made for street use (DOT officials would be more likely to approve an James Bond "oil slick" generator than candy-colored burnout tires). Still, it's a great idea to enhance the drifting experience for spectators, without using gunpowder and ignitors. [Thanks to Ryan for the tip.]
