Boasting of a new frame and suspension, a version that features limousine-grade legroom for all six passengers, and a newly available nav system, Dodge is looking to knock louder at the door of market leaders Ford and GM with its 2006 full-sized Ram pickups. According to the Detroit Free Press, Dodge Ram sales slipped 4.3 percent in the first seven months of 2005, while Ford's F-150 sales rose five percent through July. Dodge is hoping its newest, and most spacious Ram — the Mega Cab — will give it a boost in the market. The company just announced pricing of the Mega Cab, a new, line-spanning quad-cab series with more rear legroom and luxury options including reclining rear seats, DVD entertainment system, navigation radio, power sunroof and a choice of Hemi (standard) or Cummins diesel engines.
