The shiny objects from Tokyo just keep mesmerizing us like we were infants in IKEA's lighting department. Famed Honda tuner Mugen showed off two worked-over Honda concepts at this past weekend's Tokyo Auto Salon, the Fit Spec-D and the Civic Dominator. The Fit Spec-D, or Dynamite, is a testament to Mugen's adherence to the principles of Gestalt, cramming a supercharger into the engine bay shared by the Fit's 1.5-liter minimill to produce 145 hp — the equivalent of a googleplex in such a miniscule ride. The Civic Dominator is a 300-hp brute with a tuning-kit list that includes a supercharger, Brembo brakes and carbon-fiber aerodynamic effects. Japan's Nihon Car & Bike has the skinny on the phatties.
