British wood-car builder Morgan stepped into the 21st century with the EvaGT, but it's also taking a step back by reviving the Threewheeler, with grunt from a Harley-Davidson V-Twin turning a Mazda gearbox. Has someone been reading our diary?
Morgan claims the Threewheeler will be able to hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, top out near 100 mph and weigh 1,100 lbs. While the frame is made from modern materials, the design basics would be familiar to any Morgan customer of 1910. While dubbed a 2011 model, there's no specific word on when production will begin or at what price, but we'd pay dearly for anything that offers a "bomb-release type start button."
