More (Possible) Recall Woes for GM

A little over a week after 2 million vehicles from across the board were recalled, GM's got another mess on its hands, as road salt is apparently messing with the speed sensor on GM's light-truck ABS systems, affecting 1.28 million vehicles. Currently in its preliminary phase (no recall yet), NHTSA reported 120 complaints, including 22 accidents and four injuries. Curiously, GM recalled 150,000 trucks in Canada last year for the same reason, but chose not to implement it in the US, as the speed-sensor corrosion problem was 10 times worse in America Jr.
