Not to be outdone by auto spy Hans Lehmann, Brenda Priddy snapped some covert shots of the new Jaguar XK in its cabriolet rendition. The Car Connection is reporting the new XK likely won't go into production in time for the 2006 model year, possibly making the redesign a 2007 model. (Nobody who's anybody does half-years anymore). The new XK will sport a 320hp 4.2-liter V-8 (450hp for the supercharged XKR), though word on the street is a future powerplant, due in a few years, will crank out 500 hp. We can't wait to see the new cat unskinned.
