The German Car Blog reports that the new Audi A5 and its four-door older brother, the A4, will feature styling that's more along the lines of the angry-eyebrows look of the latest 3-series and IS models when they bow in 2008. Of interest to sporting types, the torque split on Quattro models will feature a heavier rear bias, which when combined with the reportedly-stiffer structure and better weight distribution could finally make the new kids the stars of the squad. Interestingly, Audi mucky-muck Martin Winterkorn says that the convertibles will stay ragtops, as retractable hardtops are apparently now too "Pontiac."
