The boys at Leftlane News note a piece in the UK's AutoExpress indicating the next Honda NSX could be positioned in the realm of the Ferrari F430 / Lamborghini Gallardo — with a 500hp V10 and all wheel drive — and a price tag to match. Two prototypes are said to be in the works, one front-engined, the other following the last-gen NSX's mid-engine design. It's been widely held Honda will use its mid-engined 2003 HSC prototype (pictured) as the basis for the new NSX, though the company's been wishy washier than a special-teams squad's worth of Charlie Browns on the subject.
