More High-Performance Mustangs, Please

AutoWeek profiles two new custom Mustangs for high-performance freakos, one a new-school tuner, and the other, a remake of an original Shelby hot rod. The first (pictured) is a take on the Boyd Coddington Crazy Horse Mustang, but using a 2005 'Stang as the base car. One thousand copies of the Boyd Coddington Crazy Horse II will be built by Xtreme Mustang Performance (XMP), in two performance levels, 365hp and 650hp (or, Boss Hogg rich and Oprah rich).

The second is from Unique Performance, maker of Shelby Mustang replicas — both to-the-letter and tweaked like no Shelby owner would dare — which created a convertible version of the 1968 Shelby G.T.500E — just like the one that recently sold for around $500,000 at a Barrett-Jackson auction.
