Mitsubishi announced it will use the upcoming Frankfurt motor show as a platform for at least one new concept, a design direction the company refers to as a "next-generation hatchback." Mitsubishi officals say the Concept-Sportback will be a bellwhether of a new design language for its next-generation of European C-segment cars, and the bearer of a new, strategic platform the company says will, "spawn a range of new models over the next three years from SUVs to family hatchbacks." According to a press release, some adjectives Mitsubishi uses to characterize the concept are, sporty, wedge-like, sharply chiselled, assertive, expressive and high-shouldered. Superman, is that you?
