Autocar is reporting that MG Sport & Racing, once the performance division of MG Rover, has been selling Ford 4.6-liter V8-powered MG SVs to the tune of around $900,000 — for a profit of more than $200,000. Not bad for the son of a corpse. The company, which was not included in the sale of MG Rover to China's Naniing Automotive, has been operating from a modern compound outside the erstwhile MG Rover plant in Longbridge. A tight little production unit, this, considering the MG XPower SV starts at around $112,000, and continues upward all the way to an unnamed bank account in Switzerland.
