Mercury Meta One Concept to Appear At Detroit Auto Show

We wish auto media people would stop using "bow" as an intransitive verb in headlines about car unveilings. Something about it makes our skin crawl. Nonetheless, Mercury's new Meta One Concept will, uh drop(?) at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show in January. Sure it looks great in a designer's sketch (those guys love drawing the fat, low-profile tires, don't they?), but we're none too thrilled about yet another "crossover" concept hitting the runways. We can feel our skin crawling already. Still, the car will serve as a showcase vehicle for many of FoMoCo's new safety technologies, including roll stability control and object sensors.
