Mercedes-Benz introduced its new S65 AMG super sedan yesterday at the Chicago auto show, making us again wish we were one of those mogul thrillseekers competing in a cross-country road rally. With a six-liter, twin-turbo V12, letting loose 604 stampeeding horses and pulling with a face-smearing 738 ft/lbs of torque, the AMG-tuned beast can elegantly launch from zero to 60mph in around 4.2 seconds — without spilling a drop of Veuve Cliquot or upsetting the A-list escort clinging to the passenger seat for her life.
