Mazda will introduce its Mazdaspeed-tuned Mazda6, a high-performance version of the company's popular sedan, in mid-2005. A turbocharged four-banger, with 274 horses pulling, will give much-needed chutzpah to the four-door. The package includes a six-speed tranny and 18-inch wheels, as well as standard all-wheel drive, stability control, stiffer suspension and a limited-slip differential for additional road grippage at redline. At under $30,000, we may have a poor-man's 330i on our hands. Or a rich man's 1991 Taurus SHO. Not sure yet.
