Making DIY Studded Tires Is Mesmerizing To Watch, Still A Bad Idea

Riding in bad weather is a risk some of us are willing to take. Adding ice and snow to the mix increases that risk exponentially. But I'm pretty sure adding 10,000 screws to your tires isn't the answer.

Granted, it's not like the crew at Stuntex are really that concerned about safety to begin with – we're talking about ice riding here. But drilling thousands of screws into your tires – even doing what they recommend by installing a tube and adding "reinforced tape" (of the duct variety) – can't be a smart idea. Just trying to get these things balanced has to be next to impossible.

But it's still mesmerizing to watch. And of course they're from Russia.
