The Lotus Elise just celebrated its 20th birthday by losing a bunch of weight. Happy birthday, Elise! But Lotus wasn’t done there. They’ve also hauled out an even more hardcore version of the Elise’s already-hardcore Exige. Meet the Exige S Club Racer.

The Club Racer weighs in at just 2,560 pounds, dropping about 30 pounds from the Exige S thanks to a new lightweight battery, lightweight center console, lighter doors, and lighter seats. It has the Exige S’ 345 horsepower supercharged 3.5-liter V6, quick enough to propel the car from zero to 60 mph in just four seconds flat.

Available only as a coupe, the Club Racer packs a new front splitter, rear wing and flat underside that add nearly 100 pounds of downforce at 100 mph. If you’re feeling really fancy, options include air conditioning and a radio with a CD player and USB input. Don’t go too crazy now!

The Exige S Club Racer is on sale now with an MSRP of £56,900. No word on U.S. pricing or availability, or whether it will be legal only for track duty here like the Elise and other Exige variants are. Probably, yes.
