For car guys in the lower half of California, it doesn't get much better than the Pomona swap meet. Spread liberally over the LA County Fairplex in the lovely 909 area code, it's the biggest regularly-occuring swap meet in the state. (Northern California folks have Turlock, which happens with less regularity, although its reputation is equally legendary.) Everything from Porsches to hot rods to Corvettes show up, as well as people hawking a googolplex of parts and accessories, from rare intake manifolds to period-correct bearing caps. The Dubspeed guys just filed a report with tons of pix; we're especially disturbed by "Blue VelVette." We hope you will be, too.
