Jaguar's F-Type has undergone its first dynamic challenge outside of Jaguar's internal development programme, and three lucky chaps called Martin Brundle, Christian Danner and Justin Bell were flown to the Snetterton 300 circuit with a helicopter to give it a go in both the supercharged V6 and V8 versions. You might know them from Formula 1, IndyCar, DTM or Le Mans.
They could probably confirm now that Jaaaaaag's all-aluminium roadsters will do the 0-62 mph sprint in 4.9 seconds with the 380 hp supercharged V6, or 4.3 seconds in you're lucky enough to get one with that glorious V8. The latter will do a limited 186 mph thanks to it's 495 horses.
