Lexus has upgraded its eggish SUV, the RX 330, with the new corporate 3.5-liter mill — changing its designation to (da, da DA) the RX 350. The company announced today its luxo-ute, which shares underpinnings with Toyota's Highlander and Camry, will get the new all-aluminum V6, offering a boost of 47 hp (to 270) and 13 lbs.-ft of torque (to 251) over the previous model's 3.3-liter V6. For those who measure such things, zero-to-60 time is down to 7.3 seconds for the fourfront-wheel-drive model and 7.4 for all-wheel. And all was right in Larchmont.
