The Peugeot Exalt is a four-door sedan concept set to debut at the Beijing Auto Show, and they should totally build it.
PSA has every reason to impress the Chinese audience, and the Exalt looks like the right tool for the job. It's a sporty sedan concept powered by a hybrid drivetrain with the RCZ R's 266bhp 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol and a 50kW electric motor at the rear for a combined output of 335 hp. Power at the front goes through a six-speed manual automatic while the electric motor drives the rear wheels independently.
The body itself is a combination of hand-beaten steel panels and a material at the rear Peugeot calls 'Shark Skin'.
While there's no copper this time, the Exalt certainly looks closer to production than Peugeot's previous showstoppers.
